Now, there are various, more relative answers to these questions, but the uniqueness of Edward de Bono’s contribution to these philosophical questions is the fact that he created a revolutionary method for getting people to think together in a uniform way. This method of switching “hats” so to speak has identified the 6 ways in which the brain thinks and even the processes that it often takes to get to the most powerful of ideas. This method’s relevance to research is therefore clear: it maps out your thoughts and allows you to innovate in ways that would otherwise be impossible. Our training course will therefore help participants get this particular edge by telling them about each of these “thinking hats” and knowing when to use the right “hat.”
Surveying is an important aspect of the research process as it allows participants to create general conclusions from a sizeable group. With it, a research process can result to more kinds of food products and even better company toilets. The possibilities of this particular research process is therefore undeniable and endless. Further still, there are various ways to conduct a productive survey, from determining the right number of people, gathering statistical information and getting the right group of people together.
