Self-help techniques

The first aspect of leadership is not that of leading others; that part always tends to come later. Rather, it is that of leading oneself. Often, the fear of leadership can take any leader away from this ideal and every doubt seems to lead them further away from their goal of ultimately serving everyone to the best of their abilities. This doubt, in turn, can spread across teams and ruin everyone else’s morale. As such, our role is to help prevent this by teaching prospective leaders important self-help measures such as breathing techniques and other stress management skills in order to help them keep their composure, be it before or during any task. We help participants learn how to get the leadership mindset.

Task Delegation

A leader is not someone who simply orders around like a tyrant. Rather, a true leader empowers their coworkers by allowing them to fulfill their tasks to the best of their potential. Doing this is a matter of knowing your team’s strengths, weaknesses and even various psychological quirks which might prevent them from doing certain tasks; some of them might be more adept at speaking and enjoy conversation, for example, while others prefer the tasks of writing and research, and others still may have more technical knowledge as opposed to emotional knowledge and vice versa. Knowing this skill will allow leaders to put participants precisely where they should be: on top. Once this much is done, leaders will not only secure the best for their team, but also the company. We will show participants how delegation that is don’t effectively will help them become a better leader.

Time Management

Leadership is also about being able to properly create goals, assessing how quickly members are able to finish it at their very best or at their worst and create compromises based on these. As such, leaders need to be able to plan on both long-term and short-term goals. Failure to do so often leads to serious problems in productivity and, as this is about frontline customer service, a general lack of customer engagement. Accordingly, participants will be asked to make charts and other graphical representations of the paths they intend to create and how quickly they can get there. What’s more is that all of this will be done through teamwork via interactive activities. By the end of this training course, each leader will not only be able to accomplish tasks on time, but will also possess a greater general organisational skills for more complex situations.

Proper Communication Techniques

One of the first obstacles of any leader is how to properly communicate orders. After all, if an order is poorly-written or stated in bad taste, it can really ruin team cohesion, damage morale and even create needless confusion that could prevent teams from working properly, together, and coherently. In contrast, mastery of communication will allow leaders to not only relay orders properly, but know exactly what to say in whatever situation. Accordingly, this skill often involves a very honest assessment of the situation, transparency and mediation in language. These skills shall therefore be the aim of this training session. Through our trainer, participants will be able to express their thoughts eloquently and without fail, allowing them to take leadership to an entirely new level.

Critical Thinking Skills

Aside from organisational skills and logical cohesion in communication, worthy leaders must have an equal amount of critical thought, as this will allow them to properly judge any situation and assess the implications of whatever orders they’re about to give to team members. Will this policy be detrimental to my team, or do we need to raise quotas even higher, seeing as how no one’s having a hard time? The answers to these are but examples of critical thought in action. In other words, our goal is to create a leader that possesses an absolute understanding on all of these three skills, allowing them to become first among equals, capable of leading others with prudent judgment.
